Ziv Lavi, the managing partner of Turf Landscape Design Inc., oversees the firm's operations, which he founded in 2009. Since its inception, he has led design and construction of diverse projects across federal, municipal, commercial, communal, and residential sectors both in the U.S. and internationally. With over eight years of experience as an Urban Designer and Sustainability expert at the New York City Department of City Planning, Mr. Lavi significant green initiatives, including the NYC Green Standards Parking Lots and the Million Trees NYC program. He also collaborated with various city agencies as part of the Mayoral Stormwater Mitigation Task Force to address stormwater runoff issues and contributed to noteworthy publications as the Zoning Handbook and the NYC Street Design Manual. Mr. Lavi holds both a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a master’s degree in urban planning from The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, Urban Design & Landscape Architecture in New York.
